Bushido was a dance in which the choreographer wanted a Dune like feel to the piece to highlight the arid quality of the environment. Main lighting used R325 and R23 front high sides and R05 from the mid side on the trees.

Air, some dichroics from the automated fixtures with R80 as fill and R33 as sidelight from the SL trees.

In White, automated fixtures with their no color and reinforced R350 as down light.

After speaking with the director, we agreed that gentle & unobtrusive lighting would work the best for this small scale production.
R02 - Bastard Amber - Used as front and side light; created a warm environment for the Jerome household that looked natural on the actors' skin tones.

Oklahoma City University's production of A Streetcar Named Desire (2010) Lighting Design by JeremyAllenFisher Assistant Lighting Designer Taylor Starr Knight This show was build around the color R3420 I choose this color for its deep saturation and light transmission. It represented evening sunlight. It was used as side light and front angled blasts. Its main counter part was R26&R64. I combined these two colors to create a bold pinkish red that I could not find in any gel book. It was used as side light and front angled blasts.

These photo's were from the DANCE 2010 University of Oregon Faculty Concert. This piece was choreographed by Shannon Mockli and was set to the Balenescu Quartet and two arias from the Magic Flute, including Arie 14 by the Queen of the Night, "Night Queens". In this piece, I used R62 in my sidelight to create a stark and shadow reliant atmosphere. Once the costumes were designed: white and highly textured, we discussed the desire for emphasizing the "whiteness with the shadowness".
